Wonders of the Baroque in the Marche (San
Severino Marche) |
Starting next summer, the dala elite of seventeenth century Italian will be on
display in San Severino.
The exhibition, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, includes works by Bernini,
Guercino, Pomarancio, Orazio Gentileschi, Valentin de Boulogne, Baciccio Carlo
Maratta.
This is more than ninety works (including paintings, sculptures and jewelry)
that will be exhibited from 25 July to 12 December in the salons of
eighteenth-century palace Servanzi Confidati and recently restored church of
Mercy.

Magicabula (Colmurano)

Magicabula is an event dedicated to children, founded in 1996 by the
enthusiasm of some administrators and residents of Colmurano, a small town
in the province of Macerata.
Alongside the enthusiasm, the real conviction that the future of a society
depends upon a rethinking of policy on children.
UNICEF in all editions has always driven this difficult challenge promoted
by the Colmurano.
Every two years, in the first eight days of September, the doors of the
Magic Castle is open to hundreds of boys and girls with
recreational-educational activities and spaces that encourage the harmonious
development of their affective, physical, intellectual, social and moral and
emotional
.
Magicabula listen real needs of the child today as a whole, makes the
protagonist, aware of their rights and awareness to other realities.
And 'perhaps too ambitious an aim?
Probably.
Simultaneously a number of initiatives are offered for reflection, debate
and updated for families, teachers, administrators and young children's
rights and their psychological dynamics.
The edition of this' years centered its attention on new generational
relationship between children and grandparents.
They have an increasingly active role in educating children, are an
inexhaustible source of stories, Count, rhymes, stories, group games,
creative skills and manual ability to invent and build with simple materials
and especially their parents generally have more time
overwhelmed by daily tasks.
